Therapy recommendations
- Analgesia (analgesia) during diagnosis until definitive therapy according to WHO staging scheme:
- If necessary, anti-inflammatory drugs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, NSAIDs; anti-inflammatory drugs), eg acetylsalicylic acid (ASS), ibuprofen.
- In case of bursitis subacromialis (bursitis; lat. bursa = bursa) under a bone of the shoulder joint (acromion)) or tendopathy (diseases of the tendons due to overuse, misuse or wear): subacromial injection of local anesthetic (agent for local anesthesia)/glucocorticoids.
