Laboratory parameters of the 2nd order – depending on the results of the history, physical examination and obligatory laboratory parameters – for differential diagnostic clarification in case of complicated course, chronic or recurrent infection

  • Small blood count
  • Differential blood count
  • Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein) or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate).
  • Pathogen detection via serology or cultivation.
