Intraventricular Block: Diagnostic Tests

Obligatory medical device diagnostics.

Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination, laboratory diagnostics and obligatory medical device diagnostics – for differential diagnostic clarification.

  • Echocardiography (echo; cardiac ultrasound) – for suspected structural heart disease.
  • Long-term ECG – ECG applied over 24 hours for more accurate assessment of cardiac function within the day.
  • Intracardiac ECG – here the electrodes of the ECG are advanced into the heart via an arm or leg vein.
