The following are the most important diseases or complications that may be contributed to by iridocyclitis:
Eyes and ocular appendages (H00-H59).
- Cataracta complicata – form of cataract.
- Corneal band degeneration
- Macular edema – accumulation of water in the area of the center of the retina.
- Phthisis bulbi – shrinkage of the eyeball; leads to blindness.
- Secondary open-angle glaucoma
- Synechiae (adhesions) between the iris (iris) and the posterior surface of the cornea.
- Synechiae (adhesions) between the iris and lens.
