How often and for how long should I take homeopathic medication?

The frequency and length of use of homeopathic remedies should always be full and consistent in the case of influenza. This means that the homeopathic remedies should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear. Most homeopathic remedies are taken three times a day in the form of several globules. If there are any uncertainties, it is always advisable to consult with homeopathic specialists. In addition, an accompanying consistent physical rest, bed rest and sufficient fluid intake are of great importance for the healing of the flu.

Treatment of the disease only with homeopathy or only as supportive therapy?

The symptoms of influenza are often restrictive for the sick and lead to a pronounced lassitude. Nevertheless, if the immune system is healthy, flu can only be treated with homeopathy, as the flu usually heals on its own within two to three weeks. If this healing does not occur, however, a further therapy should be initiated, preferably in consultation with a doctor. Even in the case of an existing pregnancy, in children or at an advanced age, influenza should not be treated with homeopathic remedies alone, since in these situations the immune system is not always strong enough to fight the flu.
