Joint osteotomies

Correction of the axial error near the knee joint (knock-knees or bow legs) to reduce the mechanical stress on the knee joint and thus delay the progression of the arthrosis. In the case of retropatellar arthrosis (arthrosis of the patella), an additional operation at the insertion of the patellar tendon may be indicated after all preceding measures have been exhausted.
