Kijimea® Derma

Introduction

Many people complain about skin problems of different nature. The demand for products that improve the appearance of the skin, improve eczema and other skin diseases and alleviate complaints is therefore understandably very high. Kijimea® Derma is a product distributed by Synformulas GmbH, and was developed for people with skin disorders.

The product, which is manufactured exclusively in Germany and Austria, is a dietary supplement. The small capsules are available in different pack sizes and are intended to help improve the skin’s appearance in the long term. What could also be of interest to you: Kijimea®

Indications

Classical indications, such as those of conventional drugs, do not exist for Kijimea® Derma. It is a dietary supplement that is not prescribed or used for the specific treatment of one or more diseases. Instead, Kijimea® Derma has a supportive effect on general skin problems.

These can be non-specific redness, dry, itchy or sensitive skin. Skin that is prone to eczema also benefits, according to the manufacturers of Kijimea® Derma. However, in the case of skin diseases such as neurodermatitis, psoriasis, eczema or other skin conditions, Kijimea® Derma should at most be regarded as a supporting component of the treatment.

In such cases, a therapy by a dermatologist cannot be replaced by a dietary supplement. Approximately 85% of the population goes through a phase in their lives when they suffer from acne. This is usually puberty.

Fortunately, acne heals in most people between the ages of 20 and 30. Unfortunately, in some people it persists and causes skin impurities, so-called comedones. In severe cases, there are nodular abscesses and pustules that leave scars as they heal.

The therapy of acne consists of different components and stages, depending on the severity of the disease. Both thorough skin cleansing and drug therapy are important to improve the skin’s appearance. Kijimea® Derma is therefore not suitable for the sole treatment of acne.

However, some sufferers seem to benefit from taking Kijimea® Derma in addition to their usual therapy and skin care. The use of Kijimea® Derma should be discussed with the dermatologist treating acne in order to better assess the course of the disease. Any improvement or deterioration can be determined more objectively.

About 10 to 15% of the population is affected by neurodermatitis in childhood. The disease fades away in the course of life for many people, but for some it persists. Dry skin, itching and eczema are characteristic for neurodermatitis, which is also called atopic eczema.

There are some studies on the therapy of neurodermatitis with so-called probiotics. These are microcultures like those contained in Kijimea® Derma. The research results are contradictory and do not clearly show whether there are any real benefits from treatment with such probiotics.

Especially for the severe form of neurodermatitis, the benefits are very controversial. A recommendation is therefore not expressed on the part of the professional association of dermatologists. In some studies however also positive effects could be proven with concerning.

Especially for mild forms of neurodermatitis, a treatment trial with Kijimea® Derma can be carried out. In particular, a genetic predisposition and so-called trigger factors play a major role in the development of psoriasis.

Trigger factors are stimuli or triggers that lead to the onset of the disease. These can be, for example, drugs, infections or mechanical stress on the skin. The therapy of psoriasis is complex and includes both local therapeutic measures and drugs for internal application.

However, a therapy with probiotics is not part of it. The use of Kijimea® Derma for psoriasis is therefore not recommended. Efficacy cannot be assumed. Which could also be of interest to you: Treatment of psoriasis
