Kijimea® irritable bowel
Kijimea® irritable stomachs are designed for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. They help to relieve the typical symptoms such as diarrhea, flatulence and bloating. Although these symptoms also occur in the irritable stomach, the Kijimea capsules are rather ineffective here, as they only work in the intestine.
Kijimea capsules contain a specific bacterium, the bacterium bifidum MIMBb75. In the intestine, the bacteria lead to the so-called plaster phenomenon, they attach themselves to the mucous membrane of the intestine and close it, similar to how a plaster closes a wound. This prevents the penetration of harmful bacteria and the development of an inflammation.
