Kijimea®

Introduction

Kijimea® is a word from the Swahili language and means “bacterium”. The name is program, because the Kijimea® drugs unfold their effect via probiotics. Probiotics are microorganisms that are beneficial to physical health when consumed.

Irritable bowel syndrome in particular is a widespread disease that is difficult to treat. However, Kijimea® Irritable Bowel should be able to treat it successfully. Kijimea® currently has several products that contain different microorganisms. The products are aimed at skin diseases (Kijimea® Derma), a healthy intestinal flora (Kijimea® Basis 10), irritable bowel syndrome (Kijimea® Irritable Bowel) and the immune system (Kijimea® Immune).

What is Kijimea® used for?

Since Kijimea® consists of different products, there are different areas of application for these products. Common to all products is that the normal condition of the body is to be restored by the positive influences of the microorganisms. In the case of irritable bowel syndrome, the microorganisms act as a protective layer for the bowel and thus combat the irritable bowel symptoms.

Besides the treatment of the irritable bowel, skin diseases such as eczema or itching are combated with Kijimea® Derma. It is assumed that skin diseases are caused by an imbalance of the intestinal flora. Kijimea® Derma is designed to rebalance the intestinal flora.

In addition, Kijimea® Derma contains skin strengthening ingredients. There is also a Kijimea® product for the intestinal flora itself: Kijimea® Basis 10. 10 different microcultures are contained in Kijimea® Basis 10, which build up the intestinal flora.

Especially patients who have been treated with antibiotics can use Kijimea® Basis 10. Also frequent infections or long-term diseases can be treated with Kijimea®. In addition to the skin and intestines, the immune system can also be regulated with Kijimea®. The product Kijimea® Immun is used for this purpose. Kijimea® Immun contains microcultures which are said to have a particularly positive effect on the immune system.

Which products are available?

There are four different Kijimea products. Each of these has different microorganisms as ingredients. These microorganisms then each have a different effect in the intestine.

  • Kijimea® Irritable Bowel treats people who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. It consists of the bifidobacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75.
  • .

  • Kijimea® Derma is used for skin diseases and consists of three different components: The microorganism L. salivarius FG01, which is believed to reduce symptoms such as itching, eczema and sensitive skin.

It also contains riboflavin and biotin. These are two vitamins which strengthen the skin.

  • Kijimea® Immun contains the microorganisms Lactobacillus plantarum LP-02, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LR-04 and Bifidobacterium lactis BS-01, which strengthen the immune system.
  • Kijimea® Basis 10, consists of 10 different microorganisms and builds up the intestinal flora.

Irritable bowel syndrome is a frequently occurring disease in Germany. Symptoms include flatulence, pain in the lower abdomen, constipation or diarrhoea.

Irritable bowel syndrome is often only treated symptomatically. This means that only the individual components, such as diarrhea, are treated, but the clinical picture does not disappear because the cause is not combated. At present, science assumes that tiny cracks in the intestinal wall are responsible for irritable bowel syndrome.

These cracks ensure that small amounts of intestinal germs can penetrate the intestinal wall. These intestinal germs cause inflammation in the intestinal wall. These inflammations irritate the intestinal nervous system and the intestine reacts with irritable bowel syndrome.

Instead of just treating the symptoms, it makes sense to fight the cause. The bifidobacteria contained in Kijimea® Irritable Bowel are designed to close the cracks in the intestinal wall and thus prevent the penetration of germs. In addition, Kijimea® Irritable Bowel should improve the quality of life.

These results are based on a study conducted by Prof. Guglielmetti at the University of Milan. Kijimea® Irritable Bowel is taken once a day in the form of two capsules. The human intestine is said to have a crucial immune function.

About 70% of the antibody-producing cells are located in the intestine. So if a disorder occurs here, it has a significant effect on our immune system and general well-being.The skin is also related to the immune system and the intestines. A disturbance of the intestinal flora is associated with various skin diseases.

The bacterium L. salivarius FG01 contained in Kijimea® Derma is said to balance the intestinal flora. This microorganism is said to have a positive effect especially on skin disorders. In addition, Kijimea® Derma contains the two vitamins riboflavin and biotin.

These have a maintaining effect on the skin. The three active ingredients together are said to combat skin diseases such as eczema, itching or sensitive skin and to contribute to the development of healthy skin. Kijimea® Derma is taken twice daily in capsule form.

Kijimea® Immun targets a similar site as Kijimea® Derma. Because the immune system and the human intestine are closely related, microorganisms can influence the immune system. Kijimea® Immun consists of immune-specific microcultures (Lactobacillus plantarum LP-02, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LR-04 and Bifidobacterium lactis BS-01), which are supposed to support the immune system.

Kijimea® Immun is intended to reduce the risk and duration of colds. Furthermore, the severity of the cold is also reduced. Kijimea® Immun is taken daily with meals or liquids.

Kijimea® Basis 10 has the task of building up the intestinal flora. The intestinal flora consists of many bacteria, which are not pathogenic and have important functions in the human intestine. The intestinal flora can be destroyed by taking antibiotics, for example.

Stress or a wrong diet can also disturb the intestinal flora. Kijimea® Basis 10 consists of 10 different bacteria, which correspond to the intestinal flora. These are Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium bifidum ,Bifidobacterium breve and Lactobacillus reuteri. These bacteria settle in the intestine and thus fulfill the functions of the intestinal flora again. Kijimea® Basis 10 is taken in powder form once a day.
