- What is the general health status of your relatives?
Social history
- Have you ever had prolonged intensive contact with persons suffering from leprosy?
- Have you ever been to countries (Southeast Asia/India, Africa, South America/Brazil) where leprosy is present?
Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).
- What symptoms have you noticed?
- How long have these changes been present?
- Have the symptoms changed on the skin?
- Have you noticed any change in the face?
- Do you have pain in the extremities? Or sensitivity problems (decreased pain sensitivity/painlessness)? Paralysis?
- Have you noticed hair loss?
- Have you noticed any change in your vision?
