Limping Child

If a child has a limp (synonym: limping child; ICD-10-GM R26.8: Other and unspecified disorders of gait and mobility), a variety of causes may be hidden behind it.

A child’s limp can be a symptom of many diseases (see under “Differential diagnoses”).

Course and prognosis: The course and prognosis depend on the cause of the disease. Medical evaluation is required.
