Agoraphobia

In general, agoraphobia is understood as “the fear of certain places”. Persons suffering from agoraphobia experience intense fear or an unpleasant feeling as soon as they are in a place where escape would not be possible, if unexpected panic or unpleasant physical reactions for themselves would suddenly occur.

Fear of spiders

Arachnophobia is also a specific fear. The term comes from ancient Greek and means arachnophobia (spider phobia). It describes the fear of spiders, which is exaggerated and unfounded, since there is no real danger. The fear does not always have to start from the confrontation of a real spider, but can also be triggered by pictures or toys depicting a spider. You can find more about this specific fear under: Arachnophobia

Fear of flying

Fear of flying describes the fear of flying, which seems to be exaggerated from the outside. The fear of flying (fear of flying) belongs to the specific phobia, i.e. the fear of concrete things. The characteristic of a specific fear is that fears are triggered by certain situations or objects. If the fear of flying restricts the life of the person concerned too much and the quality of life is very much impaired, then there is a need for treatment for the person affected.
