Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of Lyme disease.

Social anamnesis

  • Do you frequently travel in wooded and/or meadow areas in your job or in your free time?
  • Do you have pets?

Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • Have you noticed a tick bite?
  • Have you noticed any skin changes such as a circular redness?* .
  • Did general symptoms of illness such as fever, headache, or muscle and/or joint pain occur in the period following a stay in forest or meadow areas?* .
  • Have you noticed any lymph node enlargement?*
  • Have you noticed any signs of paralysis and/or sensory disturbances?*
  • Do you suffer from concentration, memory or sleep disturbances?
  • Have you recently undergone infections?
