The following symptoms and complaints may indicate malabsorption after partial small bowel resection (small bowel resection):
- Chologenic (fat-related) and osmotic diarrhea (diarrhea), respectively.
- Chologenic steatorrhea (fatty stool/diarrhea).
- Weight loss
- Specific nutrient and vital substance deficiency symptoms resulting from the absorption disorders.
