Effects
Maropitant (ATCvet QA04AD90) has antiemetic properties. The effects are due to inhibition of substance P binding to the neurokinin-1 receptor.
Indications
Maropitant is used for the prevention and treatment of vomiting in dogs, as a result of chemotherapy, veterinary and husbandry measures, and motion sickness.
