Meniere’s Disease: Complications

The following are the most important diseases or complications that may be contributed to by Meniere’s disease:

Ears – mastoid process (H60-H95).

  • On the affected ear:
    • Progressive hearing loss to the point of deafness.
    • Chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
    • Failure of the balance function
  • Jelänger the disease persists: Spread of the disease to both ears on average about 10% of cases; after 30 years, the risk is almost 50%.
  • The vertigo attacks usually decrease
