2nd order laboratory parameters – depending on the results of the history, physical examination, etc. – for differential diagnostic clarification
- Small blood count
- Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein) or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate).
- Uric acid in blood serum – if hyperuricemia / gout is suspected.
