Description

The neck muscle training is an isolated training of the descending part of the trapezoid muscle. The training effort is relatively high compared to other exercises, and the percentage of muscles trained during the exercise is very low. Therefore the isolated neck muscle training is only used in the area of bodybuilding.

In health training and fitness training the time can be used more effectively. The neck muscles can only be contracted by lifting the shoulder blades. However, training this muscle group should only be used as a supplement to advanced planning.

Definition Muscle building

Muscle building training is about targeted muscle building with different objectives. This can be for purely aesthetic reasons, but at the same time therapeutic effects can also be used, which can be achieved through improved musculature. By building up muscles, chronic complaints of the spinal column, for example, can be alleviated or completely eliminated.

The athlete stands in a walking position with a slight upper body extension. The head is held relaxed in extension of the spine. For detailed information on this exercise, please visit our topic Shoulder lifting.
