The tattoo removal with citric acid is not one of the established methods and has health risks for the skin. The removal of a tattoo does not always have to be painful and expensive.
New lotions and creams promise that unwanted tattoos can now be removed painlessly without the use of a special laser. Especially the so-called “Profade® cream” is supposed to help to make the removal of a tattoo easier. The manufacturer of the Profade® cream states that tattoos can be reliably removed regardless of their color and the material used.
Furthermore, the amount of color applied and the age of the tattoo should not play any role. When removing a tattoo with Profade®, three different creams must be regularly applied to the colored areas of skin.The active ingredients contained in these lotions penetrate through the surface of the skin into the deeper lying skin tissue, attach directly to the color pigments of the tattoo and dissolve them particularly gently. The gentle action of the Profade® cream for removing a tattoo is said to be mainly due to the fact that its ingredients are 100 percent natural.
Moreover, the research results and evaluations of the users so far do not suggest that the regular application of Profade® cream causes side effects. So far, no local skin phenomena, such as rashes, have been observed. For this reason, the removal of a tattoo with Profade cream should also be possible without hesitation in the facial area.
However, users must take care that none of the three lotions come into contact with the eyes or lips. With regular use of Profade® cream, the first results should be visible after the first application. However, the complete removal of the tattoo can take up to four months.
Whether the regular application of Profade® cream really leads to results comparable to laser treatment remains controversial. However, Profade® cream can also be used to support laser treatment. In this way, the number of individual sessions can be reduced. In this context, users must note that the lotions must not be applied for 10 days before the laser treatment.
