Nutritional Analysis

The nutritional analysis serves as a detailed analysis of the individual nutritional situation as well as nutritional counseling. This is based on the current knowledge of nutritional medicine – including nutritional plans for more than 300 of the most common diseases – based on the curriculum “Nutritional Medicine” of the German Medical Association (BÄK).

The nutritional analysis determines the individual nutritional situation – for the man/woman/pregnant woman/breastfeeding woman/athlete as well as for sick people – taking into account:

  • Gender
  • Age
  • Body measurements (body weight and height, waist-to-hip ratio).
  • Family history
  • Previous illnesses
  • Symptoms/complaints
  • Operations
  • Permanent medication
  • Occupational activity
  • Sporting activity
  • Dietary habits (mixed diet, ovo-lacto vegetarian, vegan).
  • Meal frequency
  • Eating out (restaurant meals, etc.)
  • Dietary behavior (food choices and quantity consumed) divided into food groups such as: – beverages (non-alcoholic beverages) – bread and cereals – salads and vegetables – fruit – milk, yogurt and cheese – eggs – meat, poultry and sausages – fish – fats and oils – nuts – sweets – salt and savory snacks.
  • Consumption of stimulantsAlcoholTobacco (smoking) – Coffee.
  • Forms of preparation of food

Through the nutritional analysis, you will learn to what extent your individual nutritional situation deviates from the findings of current nutritional medicine or how you can optimize your diet. You will receive detailed nutritional recommendations including an individual nutrition plan for your dental health.

Your benefit

Nutritional analysis:

  • Determines your individual nutritional situation. You will receive an assessment of your nutritional situation and an individual nutrition plan including vital substance recommendations (macro and micronutrients).
  • Based on literature that has a high level of evidence. A high level of evidence (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) provides the scientific justifiability for your nutritional or vital substance recommendation. A link to www.pubmed.com – National Library of Medicine, USA – allows you to read the relevant abstract.
  • Gives you on request suggestions for healthy nutrition – food lists with suitable foods – if necessary including for you suitable vital substance supplements (macro and micronutrients). The selection of suitable food / vital substances is computer-assisted depending on your information based on classified literature according to the criteria of evidence-based medicine.

A healthy diet serves your dental health, well-being, attractiveness and vitality.
