Package size
Voltaren Pain Gel is available in different pack sizes. A distinction is made between the 60 g, 120 g, 150 g or 180 g tube. Depending on how large the application area is, the patient should choose either a larger or smaller package size of Voltaren Pain Gel.
For example, if a patient suffers from back pain, it is recommended to use a large pack of Voltaren Pain Gel because the back is a very large area that needs to be treated with cream. If a patient only has pain in the elbow area, for example, a tennis elbow, a small pack of Voltaren Pain Gel is sufficient, since only a small area of skin needs to be lubricated. The Voltaren forte pain gel, on the other hand, is available in pack sizes of 100 g and 150 g and can also be purchased as required.
Dosage
The dosage of Voltaren pain gel is best discussed with a physician. However, it is common to apply Voltaren Pain Gel to the affected painful area approximately 3-4 times a day. However, no more than 16 grams of Voltaren Pain Gel per day should be used.Children should be treated with caution and the dosage should be discussed with their pediatrician. For Voltaren forte, on the other hand, it is sufficient to apply it twice a day to the affected area of skin.
Price
The price of Voltaren pain gel depends very much on the size required. The largest packs, some of which are only available on the Internet, are of course also the most expensive. 300g cost between 18-31 €, 240g cost between 20-27 €, 210g between 13-23 €.
The 180g package costs between 10-25 € depending on whether the product is purchased online or in a pharmacy. The 120g package is available for 8-15 €, the 60g package even for 4-9 €.
