Penaten® cream for improved wound healing
For the supporting treatment of wound healing, the wound protection cream from Penaten® contains zinc oxide. Particularly with sore baby Po, which is particularly stressed by the damp and warm climate in the diaper, a regular application of the Wundsutzcreme is indicated. It is a particularly light texture, which can be applied thinly once a day.
As studies have repeatedly shown, the cream is very well tolerated by the skin. The zinc contained in the cream supports wound healing by acting on numerous processes in the skin. It is a substance that is responsible for the functioning of several enzymes.
Among other things, it causes the formation of a network of fibrin, which temporarily closes the wound. At the same time, the approximation of the wound edges is mediated by zinc. An infection of the wound by bacteria can also be prevented by the slightly antiseptic effect.
Penaten® cream after a tattoo
For the care of freshly stung tattoos, products containing panthenol are suitable. The higher the proportion of panthenol in the care product, the more suitable it is for the treatment of tattoos. Since the care and wound protection creams of Penaten® contain panthenol only in low concentrations, they are not the products of choice for freshly stung tattoos.
In addition, due to the zinc oxide, which is also included, there is a risk that the zinc ions react with the colorants and the tattoo is changed. Tattooists therefore recommend especially highly concentrated panthenol products. These should be applied very thinly three times a day for the first week. Panthenol leads to a faster healing of the wounds in the skin and at the same time prevents rapid drying.
Penaten® cream against pimples
When Penaten® cream is used as a skin and care cream on the face and body, it is often used to care for pimples and pimple marks. The zinc oxide contained in the cream inhibits inflammation. Thus, the reddened skin around pimples is reduced.
At the same time the irritated skin is soothed. If the cream is used permanently, the pimple will become increasingly dry and the skin will heal. At the same time, the skin is strengthened prophylactically so that the further development of pimples is suppressed.In addition to treatment with Penaten cream, regular thorough facial care (washing of the face) is necessary for skin care. At the same time, attention should be paid to a balanced and healthy diet, as many food components can have a massive influence on the development of pimples.
