Phlebitis Migrans: Symptoms, Complaints, Signs

The following symptoms and complaints may indicate phlebitis migrans:

  • Dolor (pain)
  • Rubor (redness)
  • Calor (overheating)
  • Palpable venous cord

Phlebitis migrans mainly affects the extensor sides of the lower extremity.

Phlebitis migrans usually heals spontaneously after two to three weeks. It may leave a slight hyperpigmentation.
