Effects
Piracetam (ATC N06BX03) has an effect on cognitive ability and has hemorheologic properties. The half-life ranges from 4 to 6 hours.
Indications
- Treatment of cognitive disorders in the elderly (exception: Alzheimer’s disease).
- Treatment of dyslexia in children from the age of 8 in conjunction with appropriate measures such as speech therapy.
- Treatment of cortical myoclonia in combination with antiepileptic drugs.
Dosage
According to the professional information. Medicines are taken two to three times a day before meals.
