- Pleural empyema – accumulation of pus (empyema) within the pleura.
- Pleural calluses (pleural callus) – scar-like change in the pleura.
Infectious and parasitic diseases (A00-B99).
Symptoms and abnormal clinical and laboratory findings not elsewhere classified (R00-R99)
- Dyspnea (shortness of breath)
- Cachexia (“emaciation”; in malignant (malignant) pleural effusion).
