Polihexanide (C₈H₁₉N₅, M_r = 185.3 g/mol) is a biguanide derivative.

Effects

Polihexanide (ATC D08AC05) has bactericidal and fungicidal properties.

Indications

For antiseptic wound treatment and prophylaxis of bone and soft tissue infections.
