Introduction
Potassium Bichromicum or also potassium dichromate, also known as Schüssler Salt No. 27, is also known as a so-called supplemental salt. It is an organ red powder.
The salt mainly intervenes in the fat metabolism of the body and should be able to regulate it. In its natural form, this chemical substance is found in the liver, where it takes over and optimizes metabolic processes. As Schüssler Salt, taken into the body, it supports the liver in the metabolism of fats and in the control of cholesterol.
The regular intake of Potassium Bichromicum can reduce elevated cholesterol levels. Taking it is also intended to reduce the feeling of hunger and appetite, which can lead to weight loss over a longer period of time. In addition to the regulation of metabolism, Schüssler Salt No. 27 is also used against inflammations in the body and is particularly useful in the treatment of sinusitis. Fields of application
Potassium Bichromicum has a very wide range of treatment. A distinction is made between diseases which belong to the main field of treatment of Schüssler Salt No. 27 and secondary diseases, where treatment with Schüssler Salt No.
27 is intended to provide at least symptom relief. It has an anti-inflammatory effect on almost all inflammations in the body with mucous membrane involvement. It is particularly effective in inflammations of the upper respiratory tract and is therefore often used in sinusitis to reduce inflammation and swelling.
If one notices that viscous mucus is running out of one’s nose or that the nose is blocked, the use of Potassium Bichromicum can be recommended (even without sinusitis). The Schüssler Salt is also used in cases of overweight. It helps to stimulate the burning of fat.
In addition, one should do regular and accompanying sports in order to achieve an optimal effect. Also in patients with atherosclerosis (calcification of the arteries) the Schuessler Salt can have a positive effect, because it intervenes in the cholesterol control. The disease diabetes mellitus can also be treated concomitantly to conventional medicine.
It is important that the disease is never treated with the salt alone! Regular laboratory checks can prevent the long-term blood sugar from rising dangerously despite taking Schüssler Salt. The Schüssler Salt can also have positive effects on the psyche and the vegetative nervous system and is used here especially in cases of aggressiveness and imbalance.
Patients with walking and standing insecurity or dizziness can also try a treatment with this salt. Potassium Bichromicum is used for inflammatory changes in the whole body. It is preferably used when viscous mucus is a main symptom of the disease.
For this reason, the main area of application is rhinitis and sinusitis. But also a productive cough (i.e. with phlegm) can be successfully treated with Potassium Bichromicum. Dry cough is not so well treatable with this Schüssler Salt.
The Schüssler salts are available in form of fast dissolving tablets. You can either let 1-2 of these tablets melt in your mouth or dissolve them in a glass of warm water. Schüssler salts should not be swallowed unchewed.
Besides the treatment of physical (somatic) diseases, the preparation is also used for some mental illnesses and abnormalities. Thus, especially aggressiveness, self-hatred, low self-confidence and strong restlessness can be treated with Potassium Bichromicum. The exact mechanism of action of Schüssler salts is unfortunately generally unknown. Studies on the effectiveness could not be carried out in favour of Schuessler salt so far. Nevertheless, Schuessler salts are often used because of the high positive resonance.
