Potassium carbonicum

Fields of application

Potassium carbonicum is a member of the group of potassium salts, which also includes, for example, potassium bromatum, potassium iodatum and many others. Potassium carbonicum can be used for very different problems. Particularly noteworthy are: heart problems (such as palpitations, rhythm disturbances), rheumatic complaints, neck and back pain and excessive and foul-smelling sweat production. Another large field of application is in gynaecology. Here it can help for example with cramps in the uterus (also with menstrual pain).

Symptoms

People who require potassium carbonicum primarily appear weakened and aged by exertion. However, the effort is inconclusive and thus leads to frustration and annoyance. Physical symptoms include constipation, dryness, coughing and water retention, which are generally symptoms of frustration.

The affected persons sweat quickly, even with little effort, and freeze easily. The symptoms are similarly aggravated by cold (for example in winter). Affected persons usually seek relief through heat and exercise.

The symptoms usually improve during the day and during outdoor activities. The mood of potassium carbonicum persons is frustrated and angry and therefore easily irritable. They are often easily frightened, react sensitively to touch, especially to pain, and have many fears. Potassium carbonicum also has a great influence on the genital area. The libido of the affected persons is rather weak, which is additionally increased by burning sensation in the genital area or other complaints after sexual intercourse.

Diseases

Potassium carbonicum has a very broad spectrum of activity and can help with a variety of illnesses. These include, first of all, problems of the heart such as angina pectoris (a tightness of the chest caused by narrowed coronary vessels) and palpitations. Temporary shortness of breath can also be treated with Potassium carbonicum.

Furthermore, the administration can contribute to the relief of rheumatic complaints, back and neck pain. As far as the lungs are concerned, potassium carbonicum helps with asthmatic complaints, coughs and colds. Feelings of cold and numbness in one or more limbs as well as excessive sweat production do not directly count as illnesses, but are nevertheless unpleasant and sometimes restrictive and can also be improved by potassium carbonicum. As it also has a great influence on the central nervous system and the psyche, it is also used in depressive moods. Potassium carbonicum can also be used for cramp-like menstrual problems.
