Introduction
Proff® Pain Cream is a cream for the external treatment of various muscle and joint diseases. The cream has an analgesic effect and supports the therapy of osteoarthritis, swelling, inflammation and sports and accident injuries. The cream is applied and gently rubbed in several times a day. In addition, proff® pain cream is also suitable for applying ointment bandages.
Indications for the Proff® pain cream
The Proff® Pain Cream is used for various diseases and injuries. These include:
- Degenerative joint diseases associated with pain
- Arthrosis or rheumatic diseases of joints and spine;
- The so-called muscle rheumatism, to whose most frequent form the Fibromyalgie ranks. It manifests itself through severe muscle pain and restricted movement;
- Inflammation or swelling of other soft tissues such as bursae, tendons, ligaments and joint capsules can also be treated with proff® pain cream;
- Sports and accident injuries such as bruises, sprains or strains.
Osteoarthritis is a very common joint disease, especially in old age, which is associated with severe pain, swollen joints and restricted mobility.
Mostly smaller joints of the fingers and hands, knees or hips are affected, but in general, any joint can show arthrosis. The destruction of the cartilage layer slowly leads to chronic inflammation of joints with pain and swelling. Proff® Pain Cream is suitable for use in the treatment of osteoarthritis and, thanks to the active ingredient ibuprofen, has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Ingredients
As the name suggests, Proff® Pain Cream contains the active ingredient ibuprofen in an oil/water emulsion. Ibuprofen is a drug from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and is also used in tablet form to treat fever.
When applied to the skin, it is absorbed into the organism to a much lesser extent, but it acts primarily below the point of application. Proff® Pain Cream is alcohol-free and well tolerated by the skin. In addition, its oil content protects the skin from drying out. In addition, proff® Pain Cream contains the preservatives ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium and propylene glycol. In case of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or the other ingredients, proff® Pain Cream must not be used.
