Prognosis | Inflammation bladder

Prognosis

Inflammation of the bladder is, by and large, a harmless infection. It is usually treated mainly to eliminate the painful and unpleasant symptoms more quickly. If treated in time, it is usually possible to prevent the infection from spreading to the kidney and causing damage. This risk is only increased if the urinary tract infection is not perceived and treated immediately, e.g. due to menstrual problems or other diseases occurring at the same time. Even if the inflammation of the bladder occurs more than 3 times a year, the risk of a later complicated urinary tract infection is increased. In addition, there is a certain predisposition to bladder inflammation, i.e. in some people there are recurrent urinary tract infections.
