Prognosis | Pain in the pubic bone

Prognosis

The prognosis for pain in the pubic bone is usually very good. However, many athletes do not rest completely after an inflammation, so it is possible that the inflammation will quickly return or not disappear at all. In the worst case an operation must help, but the prognosis is very good.

Prostatitis also has a very good prognosis as long as it is acute and not chronic. In the case of a chronic inflammation of the prostate, antibiotics are no longer effective and there are no drugs that can provide a permanent cure. If pain in the pubic bone occurs during pregnancy, it can usually be compensated quite well. Nevertheless, the affected person should consider a caesarean section, because otherwise a strong shift of the pubic bone can occur, which can lead to pain in the pubic bone even after the pregnancy.
