Prognosis
The prognosis of penis cancer is very good if diagnosed early, so that 90% of those affected can be cured. We also try to keep the quality of life of the affected persons, in the form of unchanged possible sexuality, high by performing the surgical procedures, if possible, minimally invasive. After the diagnosis and treatment of penis cancer, close monitoring is necessary in order to detect a recurrence of cancer in time. Depending on the personal risk profile, which depends on the cancer stage and the age of the patient, follow-up examinations every three to six months are recommended over a period of five years.
