Prognosis | Tendinitis in the knee

Prognosis

Most patients with tendinitis of the knee can resume their sports activities as usual after a few weeks. After about three months, complete mobility and inability to bear weight is usually restored. Lighter and gentler training sessions are usually possible again after about one month. It is always important that a resting phase is consistently observed to give the overstrained tendon time to regenerate and thus prevent permanent damage.
