Prophylaxis | Pain in the right ovary

Prophylaxis

There is no specific prophylaxis to avoid ovarian pain. Cysts and tissue growths often occur as a result of a genetic predisposition or hormonal influences that cannot be specifically influenced by the woman. In order to prevent inflammation of the ovaries, however, good hygiene during menstruation should be ensured.

Bandages or tampons should be changed regularly and the intimate area should be washed with clear water. The use of strong soaps or shampoos should be avoided.
