Prophylaxis
There are often prophylactic forms of treatment for neck rashes. Against the flush symptomatology, which leads to redness in the neck and décolleté area, one can often “reduce” the excitement by concentration and breathing exercises to such an extent that only a small rash appears in the neck area. There is a vaccination against measles and chickenpox, which is already carried out in infancy.
Also the reaction to an allergenic substance like nickel can be avoided by paying attention to the components of the jewelry. A prophylaxis against a rash on the neck, which leads to pimples or acne, is more difficult. However, it often helps to clean the neck regularly with water and twice a week with disinfecting cloths.
Prognosis
A skin rash on the neck usually means nothing bad and often disappears by itself after a short time. With the right treatment and a consequent therapy, the patient has to reckon with consequential damages only very rarely.
