Recommendations for Cleaning and Care of Normal Skin

The skin is not only a reflection of the soul, but also of the nutrient and vital substance supply. Despite a rich, wholesome food supply, a sufficient individual vital substance supply is not always guaranteed. An insufficient supply of vital substances can be caused, for example, by incorrect food preparation or by an individual vital substance requirement (see “Nutricosmetics”).

This can become noticeable not only in the form of physical health problems, such as a decrease in performance, but also leaves its mark on the skin. Skin problems such as dry or oily skin, rashes and itching or hypersensitive skin can be caused by an insufficient supply of nutrients and vital substances. The appearance and condition of your skin shape your self-image and thus your self-confidence to a particular extent.

How to take care of normal skin?

Normal skin requires stabilization of the natural balance of lipid and moisture content, depending on the degree of stress at work, at home and during leisure time.Lipids protect normal skin from dehydration and strengthen the barrier function against harmful environmental influences. Moisturizing substances such as glycerin, sorbitol and hyaluronic acid prevent dehydration. They increase the moisture content of the skin and thus its elasticity.Hydrogels and light oil-in-water emulsions are best suited for normal skin. Only if the skin is taut or exposed to the cold in winter should greasier water-in-oil emulsions be used.
