Relapsing Fever: Medical History

Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of relapsing fever.

Family history

  • What is the general health of your relatives?

Social history

  • What is your profession?
  • Have you been abroad recently? If yes, where?
  • How were the hygienic conditions there?

Current anamnesis/systemic anamnesis (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • What symptoms have you noticed?
  • Do you have a fever? If so, for how long? Does the temperature fluctuate?
  • Do you have headache, aching limbs?
  • Have you noticed any skin changes?
  • Have you noticed any other changes?
  • Have you noticed a bite from a tick or similar?

Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.

Self anamnesis incl. medication anamnesis
