Risks and costs | Wrinkle treatment with own fat

Risks and costs

The risks associated with wrinkle treatment with autologous fat are comparatively low. Some patients complain of redness and swelling in the treated areas of the face in the first few days after application. The development of bruising, which however subsides quickly, cannot be excluded.

The costs of wrinkle treatment with own fat depend on the extent of the necessary measures. Minor sagging and loss of elasticity (i.e. small wrinkles) can be corrected relatively inexpensively. In Germany, the costs for a wrinkle correction amount to approximately 1500-4000 Euros. Since it is a purely plastic, aesthetic measure, wrinkle treatment with the patient’s own fat is not covered by statutory or private health insurance.
