Counseling/education
The patient should be educated about the symptoms of root resorption and motivated to actively cooperate.
Orthodontic therapy
- Extrusion (“lengthening of teeth”) – timely therapy for progressive cervical resorption.
- Gap closure after resorption-related tooth extraction (tooth removal).
General measures
- Attendance at regular follow-up appointments.
