Schüssler salt no. 6 in the form of ointment

Like most other Schüsler salts, potassium sulfuricum can also be administered as an ointment or cream. It is particularly suitable for skin complaints where the skin obviously wants to secrete something, for example dandruff, eczema or acne. The ointment brings the Schüssler salt directly to where it is needed and supports the body in excreting the substances causing the complaints.

How exactly the ointment is to be applied is to be discussed with the treating alternative practitioner. In most cases, a thin application of the ointment two to three times a day is recommended. Furthermore, rubbing the liver region with an ointment containing potassium sulfate can be considered to support the liver in its detoxification function.

The liver lies on the right side approximately at the level of the last two to three ribs and shifts downwards when inhaled. The ointment often contains the potency D6. In contrast to internal use, potassium sulfuricum does not need to be combined with another salt for external use.

Dosage of Schüssler salt No. 6

Potassium sulfuricum is administered in the potencies D6 and D12 depending on the area of application. In case of physical symptoms, the lower potency D6 is usually chosen, of which between five and ten tablets per day are then taken, depending on the severity of the clinical picture to be treated. For the psychological spectrum of action, even lower potency such as D3 is often chosen.

Potassium sulfuricum is often combined with other salts, which then function as potency enhancers or for which potassium sulfuricum is a potency enhancer. The potency administered is then typically D12. The same potencies can be chosen for infants and toddlers, but then it is usually decided to administer a few tablets (usually two or three) a day.

If, on the other hand, acute symptoms are to be treated, a high dose of up to 30 tablets is harmless. The final dosage should, however, be discussed with the treating specialist – as with any medicine – to ensure that the substance is adjusted to the optimum dosage.
