The following symptoms and complaints may co-occur with tall stature:
Leading symptom
- Height below the 3rd percentile* .
Associated symptoms
- Postural abnormalities, if any
- If necessary, back pain
- Etc. (see under the respective differential diagnosis).
Note: Of importance is the longitudinal growth. The following questions arise:
- Is the growth rate low?
- Is the child growing further and further out of the percentiles?
