Sick leave | Symptoms and pain of a frozen shoulder

Sick leave

Depending on the individual case, the doctor decides whether and how long a sick leave is necessary due to a frozen shoulder. This depends heavily on how much physical strain the person concerned is actually exposed to in his or her professional life. The patient must also be written off sick for the duration of a longer inpatient rehabilitation measure, since the corresponding rehabilitation clinics usually offer an all-day program consisting of various therapy measures. Even after a rehabilitation measure, it is possible that the patient will continue to require physiotherapy for a few weeks, at least on an outpatient basis, and will not be able to work full-time.
