The following symptoms and complaints may indicate Sindbis fever:
- General feeling of illness
- Fever
- Cephalgia (headache)
- Arthralgia (joint pain)
- Arthritis (inflammation of the joints) with severe restrictions of movement; may affect several joints and migrate
- Exanthema (rash), maculopapular ((patchy and with papules, ie with vesicles)) or morbiliform (measles-like); starts on the trunk of the body and then spreads to the extremities
Symptomatology usually lasts for a week.
