Cardiovascular system (I00-I99)
- Pancreatitis – inflammation of all layers of the heart (inner layer, muscle layer, pericardium); in the East African form.
Psyche – nervous system (F00-F99; G00-G99).
- Meningoencephalitis (combined inflammation of the brain (encephalitis) and meninges (meningitis)); after months/years in the West African form; much sooner in the East African form).

- Organ damage, unspecified – due to antigen-antibody complexes.
