Subclinical Inflammation: Examination

Regardless of the fact that subclinical inflammation does not cause immediate symptoms, please note that subclinical inflammation itself may in turn be the cause of symptoms of the secondary diseases it causes.

  • General physical examination – including blood pressure, pulse, body weight, height; furthermore:
    • Inspection (viewing).
      • Skin, mucous membranes and sclerae (white part of the eye).
      • Oral cavity
      • Pharynx (throat)
      • Abdomen (abdomen)
    • Auscultation (listening) of the heart.
    • Examination of the lungs
    • Examination of the abdomen (belly)
  • Health check
