Summary | Femoral head necrosis – exercises

Summary

In case of femoral head necrosis, the bone tissue at the femoral head dies. These necroses are aseptic and are therefore not caused by pathogenic germs. The cause is a circulatory disorder of the femoral head.

Here, conservative and surgical measures can be used to treat the pain and restriction of movement. With strengthening exercises you can protect the muscles from atrophy and promote the function of the hip joint. If the symptoms are severe and the stage of femoral head necrosis is high, it can be replaced, transplanted or drilled free and the quality of hip function will be significantly improved.
