Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of dermatitis solaris (sunburn).

Social history

  • What is your occupation?
  • Are you frequently outdoors? If so, do you regularly use sunscreen?

Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • What complaints have you noticed?
  • How long have these changes existed?
  • Where are the changes in the skin localized?
  • Do these changes hurt or itch?
  • Before the symptomatology began, were you exposed to the sun or any artificial source of radiation?

Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.

Self anamnesis incl. medication anamnesis

  • Previous diseases (skin diseases)
  • Operations
  • Radiotherapy

  • Environmental history
