Symptoms of pus pimples on the bottom

Normally, the pus pimple on the buttocks does not cause any additional symptoms besides mild to severe pain. Depending on where the pimple is located, sitting or lying down can be associated with pain and thus disturb everyday life and night’s sleep. If the pus pimple is full to bursting, a feeling of pressure at the site of the pimple may also be noticeable.

If it is a large pus pimple or a boil, fever can also be a reaction to the inflammation. Other general symptoms such as fatigue and tiredness are rarely possible. If the pimple is squeezed out, the inflammation can spread and the symptoms become more extensive. If the pus pimple or boil is caused by bacteria such as staphylococci and these bacteria, even if only rarely, enter the bloodstream, this can lead to blood poisoning (sepsis) with high fever and even clouding of consciousness.
