- What is your profession?
Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).
- How long has the swelling of the testis been present?
- Did the swelling occur acutely* and with severe pain? * If acute swelling of the testicle occurs with or without pain in the scrotum, often radiating to the groin, immediate presentation to a urologist is urgent!
- Are both testicles equally swollen?
- Is the scrotum reddened, swollen?* .
- Do the testicles hurt when pressure is applied* ?
- Are the testicles overheated?
- Do you remember a triggering event?
- What other symptoms did you notice, e.g., swelling in the groin, fever, etc.?
