The inflammation of a sebaceous gland on the testicles

Sebaceous glands rarely become inflamed without external influences. Therefore, it is generally true that an inflamed sebaceous gland or nodules in the testicular area should not be removed on its own, but a doctor should always be consulted. Bacteria can be brought into the skin by manipulating it with fingers or needles, which can cause a serious infection. An inflammation of the sebaceous gland manifests itself by swelling, redness, warming and pain in the area of the inflammation. In case of these signs, the family doctor should be consulted.

The abscess on the testicle

Abscesses on the testicles are usually the result of inflamed sebaceous glands. In this case, the inflamed sebaceous glands have no possibility to release the produced sebum to the skin surface, whereby it increasingly accumulates inside the sebaceous gland. The inflammation of the sebaceous gland usually also causes bacteria to enter the sebaceous glands, which leads to increased pus production and thus to an abscess. If an abscess is present, a family doctor should be consulted under all circumstances. This doctor can initiate a specific treatment, usually in the form of antibiotics.

How can one remove the sebaceous glands on the testicles themselves?

In principle, one should not remove or treat blocked or inflamed sebaceous glands oneself. In many cases, the blockage of the sebaceous gland dissolves by itself, without external influences. An inflamed sebaceous gland is, however, characterized by a relatively large amount of pus.

In this case, one should not try to remove the sebaceous glands by squeezing them with the fingers or needle – one should rather consult a family doctor. However, if there is no other choice but to treat the sebaceous glands yourself, hygiene should always be considered. It is important that the fingers or needles should be thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant.

It is absolutely necessary to prevent pathogens from getting inside the sebaceous glands. If the sebaceous glands are blocked or inflamed in the area of the scrotum, a pulling ointment or pulling ointment can be used. The ointments are regarded as a proven household remedy and are available for free sale.

The use of the ointments is harmless. However, it is not always sufficient as a sole therapy. The ointments consist largely of oil shale.

The active principle is that the ingredients accelerate the maturation of the pus abscess and thus draw the infections from the depth of the skin to its surface. The pus capsule is easier to open and the risk of bacteria getting into deeper areas of the skin is relatively low. Another effect of the ointment is that it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. This additionally reduces inflammation.
